Still seeking supporters for hole sponsorships!

There is still space for your company to sponsor a hole on the course and have a presence at our newest fundraiser.

Birdie Sponsor ($100): Represent your company as a supporter of our nonprofit with a sign that you provide at a hole along the course. Your logo will also be included on our website and social media promotions before the event.

Ace Sponsor ($250): Receive the above exposure as well as the opportunity to have a personal presence at the hole you are sponsoring with a table or booth you provide to offer food, information or otherwise engage with players.

To sponsor a hole, email Community Engagement Director Cari Barcas at cari@greenbuilt.org.

Save Your Grocery Shopping for Next Thursday at Whole Foods and Green Life When 5% Goes to Appalachian Offsets

As Appalachian Offsets crosses the one-year mark on its fundraising campaign to install solar panels on the roof of Asheville’s Isaac Dickson Elementary School, our nonprofit program will receive a boost next week as the grateful beneficiary of 5% Day at
Whole Foods Market, 4 South Tunnel Road,
and Greenlife Grocery, 70 Merrimon Avenue.

Both owned by Whole Foods Market, the two grocery stores will be donating 5 percent of all proceeds during normal business hours Thursday, April 19 to support our current Isaac Dickson project.

Help us thank Whole Foods for its support by doing your weekly shopping at one of its stores next Thursday, April 19!

Join Us Later This Month at the Annual Mother Earth News Fair

Come see us Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29 at Mother Earth News Fair at the WNC Ag Center. We have a presence at this event each year as a way of educating the community and promoting the work of our members.

Our members can attend the event free by helping to work our resource booth at the event. In exchange for working a shift with us, you'll receive admission to the show, as well as the opportunity to use the time at our booth to connect with interested community members and network with like-minded businesses.

If you are interested in volunteering at our booth, email your availability to Community Engagement Director Cari Barcas at cari@greenbuilt.org.
Thanks for your support and hope to see you there!

Share Your Projects and Expertise in 2018 Green Building Directory

We are starting the process of planning our 2018 Green Building Directory. With 30,000 copies distributed at 100 spots throughout Western North Carolina, this directory is a great way to share your company's unique offerings in the broader community as well as position your brand for high visibility in a targeted demographic.

Beyond the directory listings provided to all members at the business level and higher, there are several ways you can benefit from more visibility in this year's directory.
  1. Contribute content. Each year, our directory is enriched with article features and case studies written by our members and about their projects. For the best chance to be included in 2018, please email Cari@greenbuilt.org your story ideas now.
  2. Place an ad or enhance your listing. Click here to review ad details and a rate sheet, then save your space by emailing hylah@smokymountainnews.com.
  3. Become a member. Whether you're joining for the first time or renewing after a lapse, there's no better time to become a member and benefit from all the related marketing exposure.
Our annual directory is an impressive reflection of our membership and an invaluable resource for our community. We appreciate your participation in the process and presence in the finished product!
