~We are securing a block of hotel rooms with a conference discount and compiling a list of nearby camping options.

~We hope to have a vision and planning session the evening before, to give a bit more shape and direction to this (still young!) Louisiana Sustainable Agriculture Working Group.
Important!
LaSAWG 2018 is your event! A few volunteers (see below) have created the form and shape of the event (facility, food, logistics) but we rely on you for the most important components - participation, presentations, and spreading the word.
Checklist to spread the word:
1. Join our facebook group: Louisiana SAWG
2. Announce dates and topic at any relevant meeting you attend
3. Share on your social media
4. Talk about travel plans or carpooling with your friends and other potential participants in your area
5. Seek out and encourage at least one of your contacts to present, or consider it yourself
6. Invite your local extension or agency you work with that may not know about this year's La Sustainable Ag Working Group Conference
The 2018 conference facilitating committee:
~ Bahia Nightengale (Local Food Initiatives for CLEDA in Alexandria)
~ Chris Adams (Acadiana Food Alliance in Lafayette)
~ Elisa Munoz (New Orleans Food Policy Advisory Committee)
