If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am for myself alone, what am I? If not, now, when?

Now is the time to give all we can to help our colleagues, our families, and so many others far less fortunate than ourselves. At the Center for Nonprofit Studies, we are committed to stay "A Community of Learning" even amidst the current scourge.

We are slashing the tuition for our much-acclaimed Grant Writing Certificate -scheduled for June 15-19th. The five-day online program cost is now $500. Online for the first time, it is limited to 20 participants to ensure a quality learning experience. Prior iterations have all been sold-out. More detail and a link to registration here. Through May 31, all Nonprofit Austin sessions will remain free - even as we pay our presenters (who are also suffering financially). In June, we will implement Pay What You Can (PWYC) to allow us to continue our quality offerings. Find the details here.

A personal word. I accepted the role of Nonprofit Austin Coordinator because this organization aligns with my deepest values - a strong belief in the power of kindness, the importance of being sensitive and attuned to other’s needs, and a total commitment to practical action. That is why online offerings include self-care, humor, virtual engagement, communication and focus on the practical possibilities of collaboration. Find a full list of offerings here

Along with Barry Silverberg, our Director, I am thrilled to hear from many of you about how our offerings are making a difference. I would love to hear from you.  Drop me a note to say hello or to let me know how we can support you. As always, if you have questions, concerns, or ideas for a class you would like us to offer, email me

We will get through this together. The time to be for each other is NOW!
