Is it just me, or do we literally live in the matrix?
I just have to say, June was a little weird. Not in a good way, not in a bad way, just in a way. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it was some type of way. Time moves fast, but time moves slow.

At times I felt like I was on the verge of a major mood plummet, but then it just never happened. I was aware of the feeling, I intuitively navigated the feeling and I guess I am overcoming the feeling.

Looking back on the first half of 2019 and further back into the ebb and flow of 2018, I’ve learned a lot on the topic of coping. It’s like a muscle, it gets stronger over time. (Don’t give up, I’m rooting for you.)

If a tree falls in the forest, who’s fault is it?
I’m not saying life is a simulation, but can you prove that it’s not?

p.s. Did I mention I am unintentionally amidst an Instagram detox going on almost a month? It feels damn good. Just thought I’d mention it.

We’ve all gotta unplug sometimes,
but first, jam to this month’s playlist
chalk full of wavy matrix vibes.

Pardon the glitch, the playlist button works now:

Check out this video that briefly explains the correlation between technology and media when it comes to mental health. No, it’s not just in your head. Your phone really could be making you sick. More time offline can’t hurt.

July’s *Fancy* Monthly Challenge: Every weekend this month, leave your phone at home for at least one outing. Also, call your aunt. (Sorry, note to self.)
On the blog: Read ‘the economy doesn’t want you to be woke’

Random thought: Is The Sims modeled after life or is life modeled after The Sims? Who have we become in 2019? Is this normal? What is normal, anyway?

If you read this far, I’m sending you a virtual hug. Your time and energy are precious and I’m happy we could spend this monthly moment together.

One quick favor. What do you think of this newsletter so far? What do you want to see more of? What things hit home? I made up this newsletter and it’s a bit of a one way conversation (duh), but I want you to know you can always reach out.

With love and appreciation,
