Regenerative Design Workshop Series Launching Next Month

In connection with this year's update process to incorporate regenerative design principles into our statewide Green Built Homes certification program, our nonprofit is also launching a new monthly series of in-depth, inspirational workshops through the fall and winter of 2019, which are aimed at educating and engaging the community in regenerative design.

Join Us at Our Summer Happy Hour Member Meetup This Thursday

Reconnect with members of Green Built Alliance for the summer edition of our quarterly happy-hour meetup featuring good drinks and great company at Ginger's Revenge Craft Brewery & Tasting Room in Asheville.

This event is open to all, and the brewery is generously donating $1 of each full pour sold that night to benefit our nonprofit. Thanks to Ginger's Revenge for their support!

Mingle with other green-building and sustainability-focused professionals and learn what Green Built Alliance is up to with friends over free food from The Wood Fired Oven, live music from Julia Sanders and the Stinging Nettles, and a cash bar with $1 of every beer Highland sells being donated to our nonprofit.

Free and open to the public, this event will celebrate the unveiling of the 2019 edition of our annual Green Building Directory, as well as provide an update on the latest news from our nonprofit and its programs.

Job Opportunity:
A-B Tech Seeking Renewable Energy Adjunct Instructor


Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach classes on renewable energy technologies. Classes include Photovoltaics Technology and Modeling Renewable Energy Technologies starting this fall. Applicants should be experienced in renewable energy installation and related safety measures. Field experience and an associate's degree in sustainability (or related area of study) are the minimum requirements.
