We’d like to get your thoughts

Last year we asked you to tell us what was important to you for the future of the Whāingaroa (Raglan) Harbour. Using your feedback, we have now completed the draft harbour strategy.

It includes actions to improve the health of the harbour, improve walking, cycling and boating connections around the harbour and to limit commercialisation, among other things.

Have we hit the mark? Check out the draft strategy and have your say here.

Pound Pup Profile: Bear 🐾🐻🐾

Look. At. That. Face! This handsome fella is a six month old Lab x Collie.
He gets on great with other dogs and loves a good run around, so a large section would be prefect for him, and he will require regular exercise and mental stimulation. He is still learning how to play with toys but seems to be a quick learner. He enjoys chasing the ball but wasn't too sure what to do when he got to it.

If you would like to meet Bear please direct message Waikato Pound Pups on Facebook with information about yourself and lifestyle. If we think you would be a great match we can set up a meet and greet.

The individual adoption fee is $300.00, which includes first parvo vaccination, registration, flea and worm and de-sexing.
