Semper Fidelis: This Veteran's Way of Life
We are excited to introduce this month's Veteran of the Month, Marine Corps (as well as Air Force Reserve and Army National Guard) Veteran William Pichcuskie. Mr. Pichcuskie enlisted in the Marine Corps on his 18th birthday after feeling a sense of duty and obligation to serve his country. Including his time in the Corps, this hero served 20 years across three branches and even met his wife in the military. Mr. Pichcuskie has become an integral member of the local Veteran Peer Support community and frequently volunteers with his wife, Nancy.

It's Not Too Late to Nominate a Veteran!

Do you know a Veteran who selflessly serves our community? Is there someone you know that continues to give back? Would you like to give something back to them? Nominate a Veteran today, and help us recognize our local heroes.
Whether they're serving food to the homeless, or working to raise awareness about community issues. The service does not have to be connected to the Veteran community. The only requirements are that they be Honorably Discharged from the United States Armed Forces, and their service should positively impact Western New York.

Volunteers Make It Possible!
We are increasing our volunteer opportunities and would love to have you on our team! From outreach events, like the Erie County Fair, to events like the Barker Cornfest 5K, the Brett Gornewicz Foundation Memorial Golf Tournament, and even community clean-ups! We will provide you with regular volunteer opportunities and will do our best to accommodate your abilities or limitations. We know your time is valuable, and we appreciate every set of extra hands we can get! We've said it before, and we'll continue to say it, we cannot do what we do without the help of volunteers. Thank you.
