Dear friends,
The Baroque Big Band returns THIS weekend, heralding the holidays with a pair of concerts that feature glorious concertos of Baroque masters J.S. Bach, Telemann, Vitali, and Vivaldi. We have been having so much fun in rehearsals!

- Brookline: Saturday Dec 4, 5:30 pm, Ruggles Baptist Church, corner of Beacon St. and Park Dr.
- Andover: Sunday Dec 5 at 4 pm, South Church, 41 Central St.
As always, the annual Baroque Big Band bash boasts a roster of artists who take turns in the spotlight, this time including three Boston Symphony members -- violinist Julianne Lee, English hornist Robert Sheena, and cellist Alexander Lecarme -- as well as Mistral favorites violist Stephanie Fong and violinist Sarita Kwok. Soprano Kristen Watson returns to sing the exquisite, heart wrenching aria Aus Liebe will mein heiland sterben from St. Matthew Passion, and acclaimed harpsichordist Michael Beattie will be making his Mistral debut.
