Restaurant Week 2022

Team Cleveland Main Street returned to programming in the 2022 new year with Restaurant Week, a week-long event promoting specialty items at 20 participating member restaurants throughout the county. With dedicated marketing efforts and a series of live video interviews at 8 West Grille, the Farmhouse Table, 301 Bar and Grill, Papa Roc’s, La Michoacana, and new member Cypress Bread Co., this year’s Restaurant Week saw more than 500 votes cast for a downtown community project. Local and regional folks ordered specials, but other visitors from as far as Wisconsin, California, Ohio, Indiana, and Washington state got in on the foodie action by ordering featured specials and completing ballots for the downtown project.

Restaurant Week totals are still being finalized, but at this time, a gazebo “facelift” is currently winning the community project poll with nearly 53% of the vote. As the spring weather warms up, Team Cleveland will be collaborating with Delta State University students and the Cleveland Beautification Commission and Tree Board for “ the Big Green Event,” a day in which university students throughout the nation work on volunteer projects to improve their communities. This year’s Restaurant Week project will be completed through those student and commission volunteer efforts, currently scheduled for Saturday, April 23.

Mardi Gras Parade is Back!

Upcoming community programs for Team Cleveland include the Downtown Mardi Gras Parade, scheduled for Saturday, February 26 at 4pm. Everyone is welcome to this family-friendly event, where you'll see bands, dancers, and fun parade floats!
