Green Built Guide | August 2020

Join Our Webinar with AHBA on Our New Leaner, Greener Version of Green Built Homes Tomorrow

8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 26
Zoom Information to Follow Registration

The Asheville Home Builders Association's ACE Class for August will be led by Green Built Alliance Program Director Maggie Leslie, who will share what it will take to certify a Green Built Home in 2021.

Our nonprofit recently released an updated version of our certification program's checklist. Many items that are now standard construction practices have been removed from our checklist, while we added opportunities to gain points for new technologies.

The program now places more emphasis on regenerative elements, including the addition of a Net Zero Water Ready Certification and a pilot Regenerative Certification. Join us to learn more!

New 2020 Green Building Directory Coming Soon: Members Watch Your Mailbox for Special Delivery

The 2020 edition of our annual Green Building Directory is hot off the press and will be out for distribution soon.

While we originally planned for our annual member appreciation and directory release party to be held later this week, we are prioritizing our collective health and have made the decision to not gather in person this year.

In appreciation of your commitment to our nonprofit, we will sending a small package to each of our members in the mail, including a copy of the directory as well as a gift acknowledgment to honor your ongoing support of us.

Watch for our directory to hit member mailboxes as well as 100 free newstands around Western North Carolina in the coming weeks. We hope you enjoy!
