Today, we're thrilled to announce that we will be honoring NY State Senator Montgomery with the 2020 Family Justice Award for her work creating a more just and fair child welfare and juvenile justice system in New York State.
Senator Montgomery’s leadership on the issues that impact the families we work with has been invaluable. In the area of child welfare, Senator Montgomery holds a deep understanding of the issues that our clients face and the ways the system disproportionately impacts Black and Brown families, especially those from low income communities.
