For me, the teachings and practices of Integral Yoga arrived at just the right time to guide me in a positive direction and a life purpose. One of my main sadhanas at this time is to be more aware of what energy, what intention, what motive I am bringing into each interaction. Why am I speaking with this person? MORE

A scary moment last weekend found the community ever more grateful for what it means to really be a community! Gusting winds on Karuna Lane caused a tree with weak roots to fall on a powerline, sparking flames and triggering a brief electrical outage. Fortunately, residents were alert, calling 911 and the electric company. Jayan, Ashram security chief, responded to the scene while George Stish (Rev. Metros son-in-law & veteran firefighter) came right away to evaluate the emergency & communicate with the electric company. (Report: Ananda Kamen; photo: Karuna Howeth)
