November 15, 2024

This week, I had the pleasure of meeting with Christy Dawson of Christy’s Foundation to discuss our upcoming Thanksgiving turkey giveaway and explore new ways to support the food-insecure community within Council District 12. The Christy's Foundation's mission is to alleviate food insecurity and support families in need within our community.

If you or someone you know is facing challenges this holiday season, please join us next Thursday, November 21st at 12:00 PM at the Northridge Fashion Center for the giveaway. Follow this link to find out more information.

On the topic of giving back, my office invites you to roll up your sleeves and help beautify our neighborhood, followed by exciting giveaways and fun activities! Enjoy free rain barrels, pick up shade trees to plant at home, and get creative at our arts and crafts booth, where you can make eco-friendly bird feeders from egg cartons and upcycled succulent planters from tin cans. Don’t miss out—click here to sign up and be part of the fun!
