| | Each year, I have the distinct honor of hosting the Council District 12 Community Breakfast—a cherished tradition that allows me to express my deepest appreciation for the countless individuals who dedicate their time and energy to making our neighborhoods stronger and more vibrant. From dedicated city employees to staff of our countless service organizations to Neighborhood Council members, this year's Holiday Breakfast was once again a resounding success.
The commitment and passion of everyone in attendance (as well as those who couldn't join us) are truly beyond words. As a token of my gratitude for the community that shaped me, my team and I had the pleasure of surprising guests with a special Community Swearing-In ceremony led by none other than Mayor Karen Bass.
It is one of the greatest privileges of my life to serve as your Councilmember. As I begin my second term, I am more committed than ever to working alongside all of you to continue building a thriving community that we can all be proud of. Click here to see more pictures from the event. |

On the west side of Balboa Blvd., workers will conduct street grinding and temporary striping. K-rails will be installed at the northwest and southwest corners, all in preparation for the upcoming reconstruction of the existing curb ramps and street work.
The overnight and weekend work has been scheduled in a way to be the least impacting to the surrounding community. We thank you for your patience as the contractor moves into the next phase of the project and would request that you use alternate routes this weekend. |
