As we kick off 2025, I'm excited to introduce our new team members. At City Hall, Pete Brown will be our Communications Director, Craig Bullock will be our new Planning Director, and Sarah Flaherty is our newest Legislative Deputy. In the District, Arus Grigoryan is stepping in as our new Pacific Palisades Field Deputy. Julio Torres will take on Special Projects and CalTrans matters, and Martin Perez adds to our bench of Constituent Services deputies. As we grow our team, our focus always remains on serving as your ally and advocate in City Hall. For more, visit our “Team Traci” webpage.
We have a lot of work in the year ahead. From preparing for the World Cup and the Olympics, resolving the City's fiscal crisis, to expanding our trend-setting improvements on safety, accessibility, and livability on the Westside, your CD11 team will be hard at work delivering your #Better11 in 2025.
In 2024, we achieved some remarkable milestones. We reduced street camping and vehicle dwelling for the first time in a decade, we added new beautification teams and resources to clear debris from our coastline and help keep our neighborhoods clean, and we invested in parks and open spaces across the Westside. With the 2028 Olympics on the horizon, our work to build a cleaner, safer, and more vibrant district is already underway. Check out Channel 35’s recap of our progress and see what’s in store for 2025.
Check out the graphics below for a breakdown of key numbers showing the work we’ve done with our city partners at the Bureau of Street Lighting, Street Services, and LASAN to keep CD 11 running smoothly. You’ll see how we’ve tackled major issues, from street lighting upgrades to waste collection, and a breakdown of the 311 reports that were closed in our district. Need to report an issue?
