| | As we close out another incredible year, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to the Council District 12 community. From launching innovative public safety initiatives to opening the city’s newest park, this year has been truly special, and none of it could have been possible without the support of you, the Council District 12 community.
This holiday season, I wish you and your loved ones joy, peace, and plenty of time to rest and recharge. May the new year bring new opportunities, growth, and happiness to all. I look forward to continuing this journey with you in the coming year and beyond. |
| | | | Updated City Council Committee Assignments This week, City Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson updated the makeup and leadership of City Council Committee assignments. I will now serve as the chair of the Public Safety Committee, vice chair of the Government Operations Committee, and am a member of the Planning and Land Use Management Committee, the Rules, Elections, and Intergovernmental Relations Committee, and the Ad Hoc Committee on Unarmed Crisis Prevention, Intervention, and Community Services. |
| | | | Metro Service ChangesBeginning December 15, Metro will update bus service to provide more frequent and reliable trips, improving access to key destinations. Some low-ridership trips will be discontinued to enhance efficiency, allowing Metro to reinvest those service hours into shorter wait times and better reliability for riders.
These changes aim to make your travel experience faster, more convenient, and more dependable. For detailed information about the updates and how they may affect your route, visit metro.net/mybus or call 323.466.3876. |
