Kia ora whānau,
How awesome that we are FBC. On Saturday I felt so honoured and proud to be part of a community who cared enough to turn up. Turn up on a Saturday? Yes! Over 50 of us joined the working bee for a fantastic time of chatting. cleaning, painting, eating, gardening, and more chatting. Serving, worshiping, and witnessing together is in our DNA.

Our local faith community is a true expression of what it means to be Baptist. I know some of you say, "I don't care about that Baptist denominational stuff." The thing is, being part of a committed movement is so beneficial to the growth of our church, our faith, our capacity to connect and associate with other like minded communities. There is a New Zealand Baptist vision for church discipleship, leadership, worship, resourcing, and mission. Click here to find out more.

Ngā mihi nui,
Rachel

The past two weeks we have explored that we each have a part to play in God's plan. This week we shift focus and prepare for our new series. Come along for The Great Restoration Project - the Prequel. It all starts with hope in the gospel.

Join us at 10AM in-person or online if you are not able or unwell. Please contact us if you need support info@fbc.nz

Please check our monthly calendar with information about our Church Family Meeting, men's breakfast, Alpha, and so much more!!!  All the details of events coming up this month are in our events calendar so please click here to read.

If you have something to go into the events calendar please send them to carol@fbc.nz by the 20th of each month.
Finding our fit can take many shapes, be a long journey, and often we just need to take the first step. We each have a part to play in God's plan. While seeking God for our part to play in His plan take a look at this list of places where you could serve. Tap the button below and ponder the possibilities. Or lookout in the foyer for opportunities to serve.

Playing your Part

THANK YOU : Cambodia Mission : THANK YOU

The Cambodia mission team want to thank you all for your contributions to enable them to supply Hope School with some new resources they need.

To those who prayed, who gave financially, and to all who helped in a practical way – cutting, laminating and all those corners!! We greatly appreciated all your words of encouragement.

There will be a display of the resources this Sunday (16th) to enable you to see what your part in this task has achieved. So once again, a huge “THANK YOU."

THANK YOU : Recent Christmas Appeal : THANK YOU

Thank you to all of those who contributed to the recent Christmas Appeal. A total of $2,573 was raised. $2,000 was sent to the Arotahi Student Hostels in Bangladesh and $573 was given to the team going to Cambodia for resources. This money will be a huge blessing to those receiving it.

Below are a couple of photos from the very appreciative students.
