Communication!
Hi Church Whānau. Communication is so important to us here at FBC. We strive to inform you all of what is happening in the life of the church. Lots of the time we get it right and other times, we have to admit, we miss the mark. But rest assured, our hope and intention is that we are all on the same page together. Here are some of the changes we are currently working on.

  • Monthly News and events calendar. View it here
  • Our weekly communication: Along side our monthly news, we are wanting our weekly communication to be fresh, new and hopefully captivating. So from next week you will see a new and fresh design, a new name and a new day we send it out. Our weekly communication will be called 'Connection Corner' and will be published regularly on a Wednesday.
  • Sunday Morning Whānau news: We think it is important to highlight the amazing things in the life of the church. We also recognise that verbal information is important. We hope to keep this slot informative but also brief. This slot is going to be use more as a reminder and will continue to point us back to our Monthly News.

Highlights for this week!

Baptisms of Sophie Clark and Abigail Brooks.
At the end of our service these two amazing ladies are going to publicly declare their faith in Jesus and be baptised. Join us for this special moment.
Church Picnic Lunch
After the service we want to continue the celebration of the baptisms with a picnic lunch. (By picnic we mean bring your own lunch along for you and your family, not like a shared lunch). We will have this on the back lawn so bring some food and a picnic rug and fellowship with us.
Global Action Team Christmas Appeal
A big thankyou to all who donated to the recent “Eastern Lawa Translation Building Project”. A total of $5,087.80 was raised. This is a fantastic result and will be a huge blessing to the Bloks and the Lawa community.

Sunday 11 February - Whānau Statements - FBC Leadership Team
