Tackling The RV Crisis
CLICK TO WATCH THE UPDATE ON THE VENICE RV OPERATION
Over the last several weeks, my office supported a confidential LAPD investigation which led to the removal of three problematic RVs outside of Venice Lutheran Church and preschool. We are grateful for their assistance addressing the ongoing criminal conduct at this location.

RV encampments around our schools, daycares, parks, libraries, and homes are negatively impacting public safety. I am actively moving legislation to crack down on vanlords and ban these vehicles around our sensitive use areas. My team and I look forward to tackling the RV crisis with the same determination and leadership we brought to addressing the tent encampments in 2023.

Tree Trimming In Brentwood
CLICK TO WATCH THE RECAP OF OUR TREE TRIMMING EVENT!
After a neighbor reported potentially dangerous conditions around the overgrown eucalyptus trees on Montana Avenue in Brentwood, CD11 teamed up with our friends at Street Services, Urban Forestry, and our Clean Teams to conduct a large tree-trimming and neighborhood beautification project. Thank you to all the neighbors who stopped by to say hello!

Fun fact: The fresh eucalyptus is used for food at the LA Zoo, and the rest of the tree debris is converted into mulch, which we reuse in our City parks!
Westside Walks
I had such a great time last week on our first Westside Walk in the Venice Canals!

We spent an afternoon hearing from residents about their concerns and ideas, and share our office’s updates from City Hall.

Each month, I will be going door-to-door in a different part of my district and I’m excited that next month I’ll be going to West LA/Sawtelle!
