Supporting small businesses has always been one of my top priorities as your Councilmember. This week, my office enjoyed the privilege of supporting upcoming entrepreneurs as they look toward their next chapter as business owners.

Hosted by Managed Career Solutions and the Economic Workforce Development Department, participants in the Business Accelerator Program recently completed their training and enjoyed a culmination event demonstrating their newfound knowledge and the chance to show off their business. The CD12 team was honored to celebrate the graduates and present them with certificates as a token of support from our office.

Businesses both large and small are the engines of our community and when they succeed our community is better for it.

With the start of baseball season around the corner, it was a joyous occasion to join the Granada Hills Little League for their opening day. I will always prioritize providing kids with access to recreational opportunities. During my Council tenure, I am delighted to have helped fund field upgrades, updated scoreboards, and new fences and bleachers for Granada Hills Little League. I am proud of the incredible amount of support my office has given little leagues across Council District 12. Play ball!
