Connection Corner is our weekly publication bringing you insight and information so that we can stay connected. This week there is so much to highlight. So grab a cup of tea and please have a good read. 

Alpha
​Alpha starts this week. It's not too late to invite someone along. Is there someone God is pressing on your heart to invite? Currently Alpha will only run the Sunday afternoon, not on the Wednesday night. This course starts this week 10th March 1:30pm. To sign up please email info@fbc.nz.

Global Action Team (GAT) Shared Lunch this Sunday
Join us this Sunday after Church for a shared lunch with Kevin and Gillian Bird where they will be speaking briefly about their work in South East Asia.
They are in NZ for a short “Home Assignment” visiting family, friends, and their supporters. As a church we want to continue to pray for our mission partners. There are some specific prayer points in the GAT Prayer Focus newsletter.
We warmly invite to this shared lunch and fellowship time.
 
This is a night for us to connect with God with our community. Churches from around Pukekohe are partnering together to make this night happen. With a 5pm-6:30pm time you could catch up for dinner with someone afterward. 

Mens Breakfast
It is important to fellowship together. It's important for men to fellowship together. Here are 6 reasons from Promise Keepers NZ why it is important to meet together.

The Men are gathering together for a breakfast on the 16th March | 7am | In the church cafe. Sign up at the information desk on Sunday morning or email info@fbc.nz.

Church Meeting

After the Sunday Service on 17 March we will have our first church family meeting of 2024.  Below is the draft agenda for our time together.  We would appreciate it if those wishing to raise a general business item in the meeting could please send that to leaders@fbc.nz by Wednesday 13 March.

Sunday 10 March - Sensing the Gospel - Jane Potter
We continue our series called Sensing the Gospel. This week Jane will lead us through the sense of Hearing. Listening to God voice builds faith. John 5:25 “And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live."
