As Women’s History Month comes to a close, I am filled with so much gratitude and appreciation for the women across the world who make our world a better place. Here in Los Angeles, I was honored to join Maureen Gaffney Wolfson at her art gallery in Chatsworth for a Women’s History Month event honoring distinguished women who continue impacting our city for the better. Honorees included Pat Harvey of CBS Los Angeles; Christine Devine of Fox Los Angeles; Kimberly Cruz of Fox Sacramento; LAPD Deputy Chief Ruby Flores; LASD Captain Jennifer Seetoo; and LAPD Senior Lead Officer, Sandra Zamora.

Thank you to Maureen Gaffney Wolfson for opening up her amazing gallery to recognize these great leaders!

It’s hard to believe that three years have already passed since the grand opening of the Grocery Outlet in Chatsworth. Earlier this week, I joined owners Chris and Lisette Herrera to celebrate the third anniversary of their business. The Herreras have not only established a beloved grocery store but are key community leaders that always give back through philanthropic efforts. I am proud to support Chatsworth's Grocery Outlet in all its endeavors and wish the Herreras continued success.
