Venice Arts Exhibit
Our "Venice Arts on Venice Beach" collaborative exhibit with Venice Arts was a testament to the cultural richness of Venice Beach and the creativity of LA's youth over the last three decades.
We were proud to host these young artists and community members for this exhibit, which will remain on display at our Westchester District Office for the next year. Come by and check it out!

Welcome To The New Tom Bradley Terminal At LAX!
As we prepare for the 2026 World Cup and 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, I was excited to join Mayor Bass and our partners at LAWA to unveil the the Tom Bradley vertical core that will provide access to other terminals and the Automated People Mover.
This project included nearly 40% participation from local businesses, 28% from small businesses, and 5% from disabled and veteran-owned businesses. Nearly 30% of workers were local hires, including seven graduates from the HireLAX apprenticeship program. Not only are we investing in jobs and our local economy, we are working to ensure Los Angeles remains a world class destination!

Venice Japanese American Memorial Monument Commemoration

It has been 82 years since Executive Order 9066, which began the shameful process of internment for Japanese-Americans throughout the Western United States. In our very own community, families were removed from their homes and ordered to report to the corner of Lincoln and Venice Boulevards for transport to Manzanar.

It was an honor to join the Venice Japanese American Memorial Monument Committee to commemorate seven years since installation of this monument in Venice. We look forward to our continued effort to preserve this essential piece of history.

Introducing Loli! Initially a bit shy, this 10-year-old, 56-lb sweetheart is a joy once she warms up. She adores affection, playing with her kennel mate Athena, and posing for the camera. Loli is waiting for her forever home at the West LA Center. To learn more about adopting Loli, visit laanimalservices.com. #AdoptDontShop
