Alabama gears up for another nitrogen gas execution. The Alabama Supreme Court has authorized another nitrogen hypoxia execution in the state. Alan Miller, who was convicted and sentenced to death for three 1999 murders, now awaits another execution date from Gov. Kay Ivey. State officials tried to execute Miller by lethal injection in 2022 but could not gain access to his veins for an IV line before his death warrant expired. United States v. Donald Trump, Florida edition. The Trump-nominated federal judge presiding over the classified documents case against the former president in Florida has indefinitely delayed the trial in the case.
