PAUSE and PRAY

Thank you for your commitment together to Pause and Pray during our journey of seeking a Senior Pastor.
We would like to encourage you to create a time each day to pray for our Church Whanau and the Leadership Team as we navigate this space.

Revelations 21 v 6 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the end."

• This week as we farewell Josh, Wendy and their family, let us pray the Lords Blessing upon them and that His Peace may go with them.
• Remembering that God knew us at the Beginning and carries us to the End
• When the disciples received the Holy Spirit they were empowered for service. Let us serve one another willingly, being mindful of needs in our midst and where we can help.

Change of date for Budget Meeting

The Budget meeting will now be held on 4^th August 2024 after the Sunday service. More information will be sent out in the weeks to come about this meeting.

Josh's farewell - 28 July 2024

You are all warmly invited to Josh's farewell service this Sunday, 28^th of July, followed by a shared lunch. Please bring something savoury and we will provide something sweet.

Book of memories: write some of your memories in the book provided for this purpose, which will be in the foyer on Sunday. Josh and Wendy as well as the kids will no doubt find this a precious reminder of their time with us.

If you would like to contribute towards a gift for Josh, please use the Church bank account 01 0403 0013842 00. Please put Josh’s name on the internet banking code or on an envelope if you would like to give cash.

Where will you serve?
There are several opportunities for you to serve in our church family. These include:

• Children's Ministry - there are vacancies in all our children's ministry programs for helpers. Pre-school, primary and intermediate programs. 
• Ushering team - helping people find a space to sit on a Sunday morning.
• Church building admin team - go on a team to help with getting rooms ready for church ministries and communities renting them.
• Security team - walking around the building and car park during a Sunday morning service. This is not Security guard duties but more of a hospitality/helping hand nature.
• Hospitality - going on a roster to help with getting coffee/tea ready on a Sunday morning.
• Pastoral Care - go on a team to provide help and care to individuals/families as and when needed as and when you are able to.
