September Event Calendar

Welcome to our September Events Calendar. We are looking forward to Thanksgiving Sunday and our church AGM this month. This is a great opportunity to celebrate what God is doing in our midst. You can view the printable version of the calendar here.

We, as a church whanau, are the body of Christ. It takes us all. We want to take some time celebrate what God is doing, in and through us at this time.

We are excited to celebrate Baptisms happening on Sunday 15ht September. This is such an important faith milestone as our people outwardly declare their faith in, and love of Jesus and choice to follow Him. Please be praying for all who are being baptised as the prepare.

We have our church AGM on Sunday 22nd September. We will be sharing the church report in the coming weeks. It is so good to read and reflect on the good things that God has been doing in our church over the past year.

Our next courses for Alpha start soon. Please prayerfully consider who you can invite to attend.

Join us in watching a special documentary on the life of Lucky Te Koha as he shares his transformation and work with gangs across Aotearoa. We hope to see you, Friday 6th September at 7pm at the church. This opportunity is brought to us by Fantail Studios.

We are currently in the middle of a series focusing on the Lords Prayer.

Don't forget that Daylight savings changes on Sunday the 29th September. Spring forward into the summer months

There is a lot of other great things happening in our church and community. Women, please save the date of 19th October for a special T-TIME event, 10a.m. - 2 p.m., at FBC. Put it in your diary, organise a child-minder and enjoy some time-out. This will be a fun time with no spiritual content so it will be a very safe place to invite a non-Christian friend, neighbour, work colleague or family member.
