As I shared in both my June newsletter and again earlier this month, the City of Los Angeles is proposing an increase to its sewer rates, which will impact both residents and businesses throughout the city.

Before moving forward with the increase the City is required to hold a public hearing where owners of property parcels in the City of Los Angeles can register their opposition and/or give public comment. 

The public hearing is scheduled for tomorrow, August 27, at 10am, in the John Ferraro Council Chamber, Room 340, City Hall, 200 N Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. 

Public comment can be given in-person or virtually by calling (669) 254 - 5252, using Meeting ID No. 160 535 8466 and then pressing #. Press # again when prompted for participant ID. Once admitted into the meeting, press *9 to request to speak.
