Coming up this Sunday

This week we will see through the eyes and experiences of the mission team, who spent the last two weeks working alongside Kevin and Gillian in Cambodia, that restoration is needed everywhere.

Matthew 9:37; Matthew 28:16-20; 1 Corinthians 1:4-9

If you were away the last couple of weeks please pick up a toolbox. These are a reminder of our restoration journey and will be added to over the coming months.

Join us at 10AM in-person or online if you are not able or unwell. Please contact us if you need support info@fbc.nz
As Jesus followers we want to commit our whole life to worshipping Him. This means giving Him glory and devoting every day, with every fibre of our inner most being to Him. We are created to worship – it is in our DNA. We each have chosen to join with this local Baptist church family. Just like you have DNA, so does FBC. Some of our FBC family have just been to Cambodia on a mission trip.  Arotahi’s leader Alan Jamieson suggests we should no longer see mission and worship as separate activities, but as interlinked elements of God’s ultimate purpose. At our very core we are drawn into worship of God as we experience God’s character, being transformed, and sent into intentionally living out the missional ways of God in the world. Take a read of this article written last year about our Baptist DNA:
What is the DNA of a Baptist really? Baptist New Zealand.

Please keep them covered in prayer in the weeks to come as they get to know one another and start the work of searching for a new Senior Pastor.
