Dear God, it’s me again…
How many times do we start our prayers like this. For me lots. I sometimes I feel like I’m bugging God, annoying Him. But God wants to be a part of everything we do. The massive things and the small things. ALL THINGS!
So this week I encourage you to start your prayers, “Hi God me again”

Soul Transformation | Sandra Bruin
How do we love God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind and with all our strength? Heart, mind and strength we are probably able to explain. But what about the soul? How would you describe the soul? On Sunday, I will unpack Jesus' words in Mark 12:28-31 and together we will learn some ways how to practically apply this commandment in the 21st century. Join us at 10AM in-person or online.

For the Kids this Week...
Wonder Kids (Preschool aged program)
This week we are starting a five week programme on how God loves us and the plans He has for us.
Discovery Kids and Explorers (Primary aged program)
This week we are continuing our cliff-hanger series about grit and determination, looking at people of God who didn’t give up
FBI (Intermediate aged program)
At the moment we are doing a five week series on how the Holy Spirit transforms us to the character of Jesus.
Next Week:
Sunday 30th November, we will be looking at our building evacuation practices with the children, so they know what the plan is if there ever was a need to leave the building while they are attending Kid’s Church. This will also include how we connect back with parents/caregivers at the meeting area. If you have any concerns about how your child may react to this, please contact me at carol@fbc.nz.

Chinese Alpha Course

This is an exciting new programme!!! Alpha NZ are introducing an Alpha course in the Chinese language (with English subtitles). The launch of the Chinese Alpha course starts Friday 21st October in the church cafe from 10.30am to noon followed by a light buffet.

Baptist Hui and Missions Day
Our next Baptist Hui will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church in the first week of November. Update from Tim
I’ll be away over the next few weeks until Tuesday 25th October. This includes time with family and also time at a block course for professional development, as I upskill in mentoring other leaders. Next week, during the school holidays, a few others on the staff team will have some days away or adjusted hours.
