Whānau News: 3 February 2023
For the past long (and extended) wet weekend, I found myself often looking at the sky and the clouds. Clouds that comes in many forms. Rainclouds forming, rainclouds already formed, clouds with some thunderstorm. Clouds too dark that it makes you anxious of the danger it brings. At one point I asked where is God in this weather. And the Holy Spirit answered me, "sometimes He comes in the clouds". Then I found myself singing an old song of Steven Curtis Chapman with the same title. I have shared the song with you in this link...hope you'll be blessed just as I was!

God's power in me / Tim Palmer
Colossians 1:28-29. This Sunday we conclude our Colossians series. It’s an all-age service for the long weekend. We will include time in small groups praying for our church and nation and celebrating communion together. God has called each of us to “work strenuously” to proclaim Christ and make disciples. But not in our own strength. We do this “with all the energy Christ so powerfully works within us”. What does it look like for the church to walk in the power of our risen Saviour? Join us at 10AM in-person or onlineWe would love to have you join us online for the service if you are unwell.
For the Kids this Week...
How is everyone after the interrupted school start? I hope you have enjoyed the extra time with your family. We are continuing with all in together for church for the next two weeks. There will be snacks and activity packs available at the back of the auditorium. There are also musical instruments on the table in the whanau space so feel free to grab one and join in with the worship.

Upcoming dates to keep in mind

19th February - Kids programmes start,
