Kia ora church whānau,
It is with much disappointment that we let you know that once again we will be postponing the farewell service for Tim and the Palmer family. Unfortunately Covid is still present in their household.
On the 26th of February, we would love to invite all of our FBC whānau to stay after the Alpha service for a cup of tea and coffee before we decommission and farewell Tim Palmer and his family. We want to take some time to celebrate together all that God has done in and through Tim, Jenni and family over the past seven years.
MORNING OUTLINE — Sunday 26th February
10am - We are having our annual Alpha service, which will include some incredible testimonies and a guest speaker.
11:15am - We will have a short 30min break after the Alpha service for you to grab a coffee, tea and snack.
11:45am - Decommissioning will start in the auditorium. There will be an open mic time for you to speak words of encouragement and thanks to the Palmer family. The FBI room will be set up with games, just in case your kids need an outlet during this long morning.
12:30pm - Please bring along a plate of 'finger food' for a shared lunch after the decommissioning.
There will be a video link available to watch the decommissioning service online if you are unable to attend. The link to access this livestream will be in next weeks 'Whānau News.'
PLEASE NOTE:
This is not happening this coming weekend. It is scheduled for the 26th of February.
