Whānau News: 24 March 2023

Kia ora church whanau,
This past week my life group and I have been reading Acts 2. I have loved it.  It would have to be one of my favourite chapters in the bible.  This is for several reasons...
1. The holy spirit comes
2. People start speaking in tongues
3. People are called to respond to the good news of the gospel.
4. We learn about the early church.
The way the early church loved and followed Jesus (Acts 2:42-47) had a direct impact on my life and the passage is one of the verses that lead me to India.  This week I was again challenged; how am I doing life with others? How am I allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through me? How am I sharing with those in need? How am I praising God and sharing his love with others?
Can I encourage you to read Acts 2 this week.  What is God saying to you through his word?
Arohanui

Science and the Bible: Conflict or Confirmation? / Mark James
Why won't they listen? Have you wondered why your witnessing falls flat and people fail to respond? Many comment that science has disproved the Bible and therefore it is not relevant to today's modern world. But what's the answer? Can the majority of scientists really be wrong? Discover the answers with Mark James when he brings his powerful message Science and the Bible: Conflict or Confirmation? Join us at 10AM in-person or online. We would love to have you join us online for the service if you are unwell.
