Tomorrow morning, the Devonshire PALS Youth Center is hosting a doubleheader inviting members of the community to a Health & Wellness Resource Fair and a volunteering effort by the Rotary Club of Granada Hills.
The Health & Wellness Resource Fair begins at 10am and will feature various organizations focused on helping attendees reach their physical and wellness goals. The volunteering effort will begin at 8am and participants will help the Rotary Club accomplish their mission of packaging 3,000 meal kits for San Fernando Valley families.

Adopt-A-Cat Month with LA Animal Services
June is Adopt-A-Cat Month and to celebrate and encourage adoptions of our feline friends, adoption fees for all cats and kittens are waived starting June 3 through June 11, thanks to a generous grant from the ASPCA. Reduced adoption fees will be offered for dogs and puppies on June 3 and 4, and June 10 and 11. Join the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Foundation for the first annual Blaze A Trail event (walk through the LA Zoo) on Saturday morning, 7 am – 11 am, June 10, 2023! In addition to your regular green bin collection, LA Sanitation offers a once-a-year service to collect as many 30-pound bags of brush/yard waste/branches (cut up to 4ft), especially useful around brush clearance time! To arrange for pick up, call 1-800-773-2489 a day before your regular collection day and provide the quantity of bags.
