The 78th International Peace Conference is coming right up in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. PAM member Midori Morrow is on her way! Portland Media Center has just posted their program of Midori's presentation at the PMC during a welcoming event, it also includes Making Waves, a documentary about the Golden Rule's history.
PAM is the grateful recipient of a generous bequest from the Estate of Alfred Bersbach. It is what finalized the last leg of Midori's trip to Nagasaki, where her grandmother survived the bomb July 9,1945. Midori's recent exhibit "43 Seconds" (see photo) at MECA reflects an effect of falling and the time it took for the first bomb dropped on Hiroshima to detonate.
