The City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services (Health Department) Tobacco Education and Prevention Program, in collaboration with the City’s Office of Climate Action and Sustainability Neighbor-to-Neighbor Program, invites community members of all ages to attend its Save the Planet, Be the Hero: Earth Month Kickoff Event. This fun, family-friendly and educational environmental event will be held tomorrow, Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Admiral Kidd Park (2125 Santa Fe Ave.) and will offer attendees a chance to become an environmental superhero and take action to protect the planet.
