 Conservation Dinner raises more than $45,000 for local projects
The Exeter Lions Club, community volunteers, donors and patrons join forces with Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation and ABCA each year in successful community partnership
The Exeter Lions Club, community volunteers, and Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation (along with ABCA) organize the annual Conservation Dinner and auction each year through a volunteer dinner committee. This was the 23rd Conservation Dinner and a sold-out crowd of 410 patrons, donors, and volunteers raised more than $45,000 at this year’s event for conservation efforts of the Exeter Lions and Ausable Bayfield Conservation. The money raised will support conservation education for children, several accessible trail projects, a family-friendly fishing derby and fish stocking of Morrison Reservoir, and Commemorative Woods. Conservation Strategy available online
See the results of a year of work from your community representatives: Thirty-four people from your watershed community wrote a strategy for how to create healthier watersheds and healthier people through protecting of soil, water, and living things. Clinton-area school students plant trees for Earth Week
Students from Clinton-area schools helped with a tree planting project this Earth Week. The students helped Ausable Bayfield Conservation staff plant hundreds of trees behind St. Joseph's School in Clinton to rehabilitate the wetland. Ausable Bayfield Conservation also presented awards for student writing about protecting soil, water, and living things. Also this Earth Week, Ausable Bayfield Conservation and local students will be planting trees at Crediton Conservation Area and Clinton Conservation Area.

Call for children interested in Summer Nature Day Camps
