How was your weekend?

This is going to be another great week of networking and events. As usual we highlighted the few that stood out and have the most mass appeal.

In anticipation of my upcoming Networking 2.0 book, I am releasing a variety of free content.  If you have been reading this newsletter for a while, you already know about the 5 tips in 5 minutes Networking 2.0 video series, if not here is a link to one of the last ones, which contains links to all the other episodes.

This week I am excited to release a Networking 2.0 Infographic which highlights the top things you can do Before, During and After a networking event. We have been getting a lot of great feedback from it! Let us know what you think and if you like it, then tweet, pin, like, and share it.

Cookie Swap For a Cause
Last December, over 90 of Boston’s home bakers came together to swap 6,000 cookies, each worth a $.10 donation to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer from the Glad to Give campaign. This year, Glad to Give is increasing its contribution to ONE DOLLAR PER COOKIE! More of a cookie-eater than a cookie-maker? You get a Glad container that you can fill with cookies for $20 ($5 off before 12/2!). What can be better than arrive at your office with a container full of holiday cookies that you didn’t even have to bake? Attendees will vote for the best cookies and the winner will get a prize pack. We encourage the swapping of special diet cookies (e.g. gluten free, nut free, and vegan).
