Spring is nearly upon us and we cannot be happier about all of the wonderful things we have going on here at Talk of the Town Catering & Special Events! From planning the most elegant weddings to offering our three customized delivery options for our Gourmet Party Platters, there seems to be no end to our new adventures. To add to our many awards and accolades, we have been named again as a Best of Weddings winner by The Knot for 2013! We’re grateful for this honor, as it comes from actual brides who are thrilled with our wedding catering.

In this latest newsletter, we feature a long-time and trusted Talk of the Town Team Member, Carmen Munoz Gonzalez. And, we highlight some amazing new culinary developments – our incredible new hors d’oeuvres selections and our chefs’ visit to Quail International! We are considered one of the best caterers in Atlanta because of our service and amazing cuisine. We’ve developed nearly 20 new and tantalizing hors d’oeuvres for 2013 that combine never before seen pairings of the finest ingredients and our culinary talents. With new items like Sliced Asian Duck Breast with Sweet and Spicy Slaw or Smoked Salmon Cheesecake to name just two! We want our clients to always know that Talk of the Town is creating something new so that when you ask us to cater your next special event, corporate party or wedding, your guests will be amazed and inspired!

Talk of the Town is continually seeking the finest ingredients for our valued clients whether they are hosting a catered weddingcorporate event or other special occasion. We don’t simply call up a large national food purveyor and place a weekly order for everything we need. What we can find locally and fresh, we do, because you and your guests deserve the best from Talk of the Town. To this end, our own Chef Andrew Brackner and Chef William Foshee have recently visited one of their favorite suppliers, Quail International. Chef Andrew offers his take on this impressive, environmentally-conscious, 28-year-old local business that provides us with the finest quail possible. We know you’ll enjoy learning about Quail International through our chef’s eyes. 

A New Preferred Talk of the Town Venue - Chattahoochee Technical College


We are proud to announce that Talk of the Town is now a preferred vendor at Chattahoochee Technical College! This is a great venue for conferences and retreats. It is set in scenic Jasper, GA. We look forward to helping you make your catered corporate event perfect at this venue.

Featured Staff Member Carmen Munoz Gonzalez

All of us at Talk of the Town work very hard to make sure that when the party begins, you feel everything you see is just right. Many people don’t get to meet some of our most treasured and valuable staff members who work behind the scenes to ensure that the cuisine you enjoy is prepared and presented perfectly.

Meet Carmen Munoz Gonzalez, a garde manager chef with Talk of the Town. Carmen has been with us for ten years and has diligently worked her way up the ranks in our culinary team to this very important role. When your guests delight in a beautiful Talk of the Town platter, chances are Carmen’s eye for detail and design have been hard at work!

Chef Andrew Brackner trusts Carmen to not only create our incredible platter presentations, but she’s also responsible for cold food preparations – everything from innovative and delicious salads to cheese and fruit displays and so much more. Chef Andrew says of Carmen, “Her dedication to quality and eye for detail simply set her apart.” He says he’s “always amazed” at her carving abilities, which means you and your guests will receive custom-created displays.

Carmen has a positive attitude and the entire Talk of the Town team values her for this and her great work ethic. She is a devoted mother and we are proud to call Carmen our valued colleague! Look for her incredible work at your next Talk of the Town event.
