CASL Compliance
As I stated in yesterday's issue of The Winning EDGE; if you are Canadian, most likely, over the past several weeks you have been inundated with emails from companies requesting you re-subscribe to their newsletters, giving them expressed consent (vs previously granting implied consent) to keep in touch, so they comply with the new Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation CASL, coming into effect July 1st 2014.
As Contest Queen is a legal business, I have to do the same thing. This email is requesting you to give me expressed consent to continue to send you The Winning EDGE along with occasional sweepstakes alerts, or even breaking news (although to-date, I have not had a contest emergency to report!). |
