1) Free webinars! Learning isn't just for the kiddos, which is why the IAN is continuing to host webinars on topics that relate to out-of-school programming. 2) Seeking Community Partners? Would you like to connect with organizations, programs or agencies that can support or enrich out-of-school programming, or is your out-of-school program in need of community partners? Let us know! 3) 21st CCLC Afterschool Program Grant Workshops will be held statewide starting next week, 11/16/15. They are free and the best way to learn about how to apply for some of the $1.5 million in funding that will be awarded next year. Click here for dates and details.
4) Hour of Code is December 7 - 13! The IAN is encouraging out-of-school providers to host an Hour of Code during this week. It is easy and free. Fun for kids, families and you. Click here to register your Hour of Code and get a free gift card to iTunes, Amazon or Windows store.
5) Learnstorm is in Idaho! New and free tools to teach grit and math together. Sign-ups opened 11/9/15, and this program is currently only being offered in the Bay Area, Chicago, Ireland and yes, Idaho! Click here for more details.
6) Libraries! Make it at the Library 2016 Applications are now being accepted. This is a program every community needs in their local library. Click here for details.
7) Request for Proposals! The Idaho Prevention and Support Conference is accepting RFPs until 12/4/15 to present at the Conference (held in Sun Valley 4/15-16/2016). Click for details.
