Hope you all had a chance to enjoy the abundance of the summer season in every aspect and now witnessing the vibrant colours of the autumn. As nature is going through a transformation phase and prepares for winter, it reminds us to witness some inner changes and allow our energies to connect with silent and stillness.

Awareness is Profound Interest

The man who wants to improve himself can never be aware, because improvement implies condemnation and the achievement of a result; whereas in awareness there is observation without condemnation, without denial or acceptance. That awareness begins with outward things, being aware, being in contact with objects, with nature. First, there is awareness of things about one, being sensitive to objects, to nature, then to people, which means relationship; then there is awareness of ideas. This awareness - being sensitive to things, to nature, to people, to ideas- is not made up of separate processes, but is one unitary process.

It is a constant observation of everything, of every thought and feeling and action as they arise within oneself. Read More >

September 2015 Janmashtmi (Birth of Krishna)
One Shakti was invited at the Shree Krishna Janmashtmi 2015 celebrations at the Hare Krishna temple to share some yoga practice for mums and baby at the Baby Krishna’s tent. Ananti represented One Shakti sharing some chanting, Krishna nursery rhymes with baby moves and a few stretches for the busy Mummy – Hare Krishna!
October 2015 Special Diwali Toddler Yoga
In preparation for Diwali, Ananti attended Shishukunj Toddler group to share parts of the Diwali story from the Ramayan. Using simple dressing up costumes, pictures and props, She took the children through a journey of Rama, Laxman and Sita’s life in the forest to their return to Ayodhya and Diwali celebrations, using sound and yoga postures, encouraging the children to use their imaginations through feelings and sensations.

Yoga Classes

One Shakti offers a wide range of group classes of Hatha Yoga and more for all levels, Yoga Therapy, Pre & Post Natal Yoga and Pranayama & Meditation. The associates conducts these in various locations and spread through out the week. 

New full term of classes starting from January 2016. Please link to Spring Term Schedule

Enrolment open - to register or to inquire, liaise with the respective team associate as shown on the schedule. Spaces guaranteed on payment of the term fees on first come basis. Please note over the recent terms, some classes had a full take-up and few regular members had to be on a waiting list.
