Oren M. Levin-Waldman, Research Scholar at the Binzagr Institute, published two public policy op-ed articles:  "
Progressivism is Really About Efficiency (February 7, 2016), and "The Real Issue is Wage Inequality," (February 22, 2016). He also appears as a regular guest on Westchester on the Level, a blog/talk radio show every other Wednesday. 

3MT Award
Aqdas Afzal, Research Fellow at the Binzagr Institute and a Ph.D. candidate in economics at UMKC, won the inaugural Three Minute Thesis, or “3MT,” contest at his university. Afzal presentation’s title was, “Counter Climate Change: The Relationship Between Economic Growth and Energy Consumption in Developing Countries” (
watch the video here). Afzal also won the People’s Choice Award. As the next step, Afzal would now be representing his university in Chicago at regional competition in April. Afzal, a Fulbright scholar from Pakistan, also teaches at the Rockhurst University in Kansas City. Congratulations!
