Reminder: Help the EcoTeam Collect Plastic Bottle Caps

The EcoTeam has been working hard all year collecting plastic bottle caps to make a large mural. To make a great mural, the team needs a variety of colours. This can include caps from all sorts of juice and pop bottles, as well as some 2L tetra packs, cleaning products, and drinkable yogurts. The more variety, the better! Visit this link for examples of finished products. 

Please drop off any bottle caps in Madame Barbier's mailbox in the office or send them directly to Room 28 before the end of the month.

Spring Concerts: April 21, 2016

9:00 - 10:00 am - Kindergarten & Grade 1 Classes

6:00 - 7:15 pm - Groups in the following order:

• Grade 2 & 3 Classes (Primary Choir)
• Strings
• Ukulele Groups
• Junior Choir
• Orff Ensemble

There will be a dress rehearsal that day at 12:45 pm that parents are welcome to attend if they can’t make it to the evening performance. Visit the concert section of the Wilkinson Music Website for more information.

Parent Council Meeting
 
The next meeting of the Wilkinson School Community Council is TONIGHT from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in Room 3. See the meeting agenda to learn what's up for discussion this month. 

Childcare is available upon request. All parents/guardians are welcome, you don't need to be a member to attend. 

Wilkinson Wood Car Derby

The Wilkinson Wood Car Derby is coming up on Friday! We're looking for 10 parent volunteers to help make sure this year's event runs smoothly. If you can lend a hand, please let us know.

Refugee Sponsorship Group

Members of the Wilkinson-St. David’s Sponsorship Group will be in front of Room 3 between 8:30 - 9:00 AM on Thursday and Friday to receive donations. If you would like to contribute but can't come to the school, you can make a donation online. 

The group is also having a bake sale on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, in Room 3 during Morning Recess and the Lunch Hour. All proceeds will go towards sponsoring a Syrian Refugee Family. See this email for more details.

Pizza Lunch

There is a pizza lunch on Friday, April 8, 2016. Children who are signed up for the program do not need to bring a lunch to school. Parent volunteers are always welcome. See you in the gym!
