The Wattblock team are currently focused on implementing buildling retrofits for the initial 4 customers.

Meanwhile another 64 wattblock energy reports were created online over the past two weeks. We have now generated just under 200 reports across Australia.
The Australian Chinese investor night on 21st January yielded follow-up meetings for Wattblock. The Telstra muru-D team is now on the ground in China following up networking opportunities ahead of our scheduled trade mission:

Schedule
7-9 March 2015    Telstra muru-D trade mission: Shanghai
10-12 March 2015    Telstra muru-D trade mission: Shenzhen
13-15 March 2015    Telstra muru-D trade mission: Beijing
18-19 April 2015   Shenzhen state sponsored
4-6 May 2015        CEBIT Exhibitor Sydney

We also welcome our AGSM marketing intern Shailaja Bhatnagar to the Wattblock team. She will be researching and documenting our global market opportunity and growth strategy.

Wattblock closed its seed investment round with the addition of a UK-based energy company consultant. Wattblock is now in discussions with interested parties to set up Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) financing facilities for future building upgrades.  We are looking to create a low risk funding pool secured by customer contracts and physical assets.

Wattblock is also looking for licensed electricians who are reliable, punctual and have strata building references in Australia's capital cities to join the Wattblock network.
Our customer engagement starts with a free report identifying energy waste in buildings. If you have not already done so, we recommend you create a Wattblock Report for a building.
