Amman and Beirut - upcoming tour dates

BIPOD, Beirut International Platform of Dance, is a modern and pioneering festival (in contemporary genre) held every year since 2004 in the Lebanese capital. One of the festival's founding principles is the development and innovative introduction of new languages in contemporary dance and body expression. 'Flightless' is a clear example of just that - a crystallization of a subtle and nuanced imagery, which calls for the ability of reinvention through different mediums of expression: body, gesture, plastic, etc

Open class at CDC

The next 13th and 14th of April Elías Aguirre will impart an open dance class at Centro Danza Canal in order to meet other dancers to participate in future projects, new production or substitution. Professionals or students of contemporary dance are welcome, even with other knowledge of urban dance and physical theater. If you want to participate write to info@eliasaguirre.es. Other works

The pieces 'Fight or Flight' and 'Longfade' also continue their international tour, visiting some European reference stages: Greece (One Small Step), Germany (ARTORT, Schwankhalle), Spain (Costa Contemporánea).
Entomo (Elías Aguirre & Álvaro Esteban) returns to his old tricks: Germany , Korea and Africa in the spotlight.

More dance & street

The company is immersed in the creation of a new festival of street dance to be held on June 21st in central areas of Madrid. It is a program organized within the project Resident Companies by City Council. Some companies that may participate are: Daniel Abreu, Sharon Fridman, La Macana and HuryCan.

Second edition

Following the success of the 1st edition -we leave a video summary- In July Oxide Fest returns with something new in its programming , as the First International Forum Videodanza in Madrid city. More info coming soon and on the web: www.oxidofest.com.
