Happy Birthday, Louise Balmer!

La Jolla Country Day School's founder Louise Balmer's birthday is Monday, February 27. Mrs. Balmer won wide recognition as a pioneer in the nursey field and was highly respected in La Jolla. She served on the boards of the Chamber of Commerce, La Jolla Arts Center and La Jolla Community Theater. As a Cum Laude graduate of Bryn Mawr, Mrs. Balmer made sure all four of her children graduated college. LJCDS will be celebrating Mrs. Balmer’s birthday during “milk break” on Monday.
