Blaenavon World Heritage Centre and Library
Activities to keep all the family occupied this Easter. Easter Crafts Workshop Tuesday 11th - Friday 14th April and Tuesday 18th - Friday 21st April. £1.00 per craft activity. --- Easter Egg Hunt 11th – 23rd April - £1.00 per entry. --- Story & Craft sessions in the Library - Thursday 13th & 20th April at 2.30pm. --- Step back in time and meet school founder Sarah Hopkins – Wednesday 19th April.

Blaenavon Heritage Railway

Blaenavon Ironworks – Easter Trail and Teddy Bear Picnic
Saturday 15th April – 1.00pm – 3.00pm Come and join in with our Easter trail, Teddy Bear’s picnic and storytelling for children. There is fun for all the family, with a free egg for the first 200 children who complete the Easter Egg Trail. Children can bring their own teddy bear and picnic snack, and come and listen to stories together in Stack Square.

Easter Crafts
10, 11, 12, 17, 18 & 19 April, 12pm-4pm
Come along to these drop in sessions and make pop up Easter cards, lamb masks and Easter egg hanging decorations. Small charge will apply.

‘Wales – The Coal Era and the Post Coal Era’
Rhodri Morgan, former First Minister of Wales, will seek to compare the Wales of 1841.  This is when it became the world's first 'industrial nation' according to that year's Census.  Learn of the struggles over the past 90 years to replace the jobs lost in the Valleys since the long decline of the industry started in the mid 1920s'.
