August Yard of the Month
637 Hidden Hills Crossing
Congratulations to Jitendra & Nirmala Sahoo for being recognized as this months winner. This corner home has a lovely lawn, with all landscaping beautifully trimmed and is completely surrounded with Marigolds.
Improvements around Hidden Hills

Over the last few months, the Association has maintained the following:
  • Clubhouse - pressure-washed and a fresh coat of paint was applied to the interior
  • Pine straw was placed in the common areas, around trees and landscaping
  • Stone columns at Mill Creek IV entrance - repaired
  • Bushhogging the common area by retention ponds
  • Repairs to exercise equipment
  • Re-stripe the parking lot at clubhouse
  • Repairs to irrigation system
  • Repair refrigerator at clubhouse
  • Replace and repaint faded street signs in older sections
  • Replace the pool pump and other pool repairs
  • Install baby changing station at pool
These improvements/repairs were accomplished in addition to routine monthly expenses associated with our neighborhood, including the clubhouse mortgage, grounds-keeping, street lighting, power bills, etc.

Most residents don't realize what is involved with keeping a neighborhood association running effectively. It won't be long before the Annual Meeting. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, please contact a board member or email Pat at hiddenhillsinfo@gmail.com.
Now that school is back is session, please use caution and watch as children get on and off the bus, and as they continue to play outside until dark.
Remember, it takes a village!
Events and Activities

The Board of Directors meet on the second Tuesday for the monthly board meeting. All are welcome to attend. If you wish to bring a matter before the board, please contact the office to be put on the agenda.

A group of Hidden Hills men get together on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month to play poker. If you wish to join the group,
please contact Ray Leninger.

Ladies meet on the 3rd Thursday at the clubhouse to play games and enjoy a delicious meal. If you are interested in attending,
please contact Alice Leninger.

Coming soon: the Fall Garage Sale - October 15
New Residents - Welcome! We are happy to have you.

Six new families joined our ranks in July. Be sure to say "hello" when you see them out and about in the neighborhood.
Hidden Hills is a Covenant Enforced Community.

July was a busy month for covenant violations. The Board of Directors decided to list the type of violations that are problematic, so as a resident, you would be aware of what NOT to do.

Parking on the street and/or curb/sidewalk has been one of the primary issues, as is garbage cans not being promptly removed after trash day. Here is the complete list:

7 - Parking and Trailers
7 - Garbage Can
5 - Mowing, flower beds, debris
1 - Trailer visible from street
1 - Non ARC Approval - structure
2 - Sign violations

The Covenant Committee works hard on covenant compliance to maintain the standards of Hidden Hills to keep our property values high. For a complete list of Hidden Hills Covenants, visit http://hiddenhillsowners.org/rules.php
Fall Garage Sale

Mark your calendars for the Fall Garage Sale! It will be held Saturday, October 15. Cost to participate is $10 - the money goes back into the Social Committee Fund and helps pay for activities throughout the year. New residents receive a "coupon" in your Welcome Basket that lets you register for free. Questions? Contact Tricia Harris or Pat Starnes.
