Russ has been working as an interactive creative for over 15 years. With a background in design and art direction, he made his mark at London’s renowned Agency Republic before moving to sunny Sydney’s TBWA Digital Arts Network in 2007. A passionate believer in mobile first thinking, his work for the Pedigree Adoption Drive used facial recognition software to match people with shelter dogs that looked like them. He’s creatively helped the agency unlock multiple Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show Interactive, Spikes Asia, Webby’s as well as many local awards. His interactive work for Dirtgirlworld received an International Emmy award for digital in 2012. More recently his work for NRMA's Crashed Car Showroom was the only Australian work shortlisted for the prestigious Cannes Innovation Lions 2014. His work for Airbnb “Stay With Pride” was awarded a Silver Cannes Lion for PR 2015. Russ judged Cannes Mobile Lions in 2015 and was named as one of the ‘40 under 40’ by Campaign Asia Magazine.
