All this talk about resolutions, yet research proves they rarely work.

And yet, it is a guilt-free time of year to slow down, reflect on last year, and figure out what’s ahead. Live intentionally. Work intentionally. Make those “big” goals for business, your next credential, for your education and your life.

In this issue, you’ll read a little bit about how I do that. Of course, I have a regular business planning session or two [with myself!], plus time with my accountability partner to make sure it happens [twice monthly meetings].

After I’ve done the business planning, I think about my year. Not goals, but how I want it to be, how I want to be …all done in “3 words.” I’ve done it a few years now and it works well for me.
I also create a life vision board every couple of years, because it helps me articulate some  specific goals and intentions. Here’s my video about my 2016 vision board and how it and my 3 words turned out. Or read about it here on the blog.

One article this edition: My 3 Words for 2017. What they are. What they mean. How they will likely show up for me.

If you’d like to make your intentions and goals happen, have a big decision to make or need to get yourself more organized and productive, call or email today Sue@OrganizeNH.com or 603.554.1948. No charge for a 20-minute discussion to figure out if and how this approach will work for you and I have the style and skills you need.

"These meetings with Sue have brought me clarity, have helped me set and accomplish business and personal goals, satisfaction of completion, but most of all “Time” to do some of things I enjoy doing. She has helped me stop the juggling act."

My 3 Words. This Really Works.

3 words: This really works. I reflect on and choose my 3 words to guide my upcoming year. And they do guide my daily actions as well as how I show up, in work and in life.

The 3 words approach is effective in its simplicity: Remember 3 words. Three concepts. Three overriding themes to the year.

The 3 words approach helps me with clarity: Thoughtfully chosen words, and many which are filtered out for 2017.

And lastly, for me, the 3 words approach is useful as a guiding phrase or meaning for the year.
